Both lines are directly side by side as shown on the lower picture of the overview. Line I This line is the main product line and includes a multiple cross-cut saw which is CNC controlled and also a new type of stacking machine which works with 16 layers per minute. With two sorter rolls it is possible to bring out the reject board to the Line II or to another existing stacking line. Line II The second Line works with 6-8 Layers per minute and is a pure stacking machine. These both new stacking lines dispose of a common package disposal by roller conveyors and chain cross conveyors. In the package disposal are integrated two strapping machines and one adapts itself of it automatically to the package length. Besides, an mechanisation of the firm of Kallfass was also destroyed completely which had done already more than 20 years their service to this moment. Already shortly after it was discussed, together with the Fa. Züfle, the new arrangements draft and in the meantime the mechanisation approx. 3 months already in operation. Now Kallfass has delivered again two multiple crosscut-saws of the same type in February 2004. Both multiple crosscut-saws are supplied by hand. With a pushing device the boards will be feeded to the roller conveyor and from there to a multiple rip saw. These plant include three different machine types. Included is a board stacking machine with feeding to an HEWSAW, a lath bundeling after the HEWSAW which is follow the lath paket and a stacking machine with a bundeling system for the finished paket. The customer has the possibility to fill the plant either with board pakets about the destacker or about an swingable Kallfass chain conveyor from his existing sorting line. Now from the buffered boards, board pakets can be formed or the HEWSAW is charged separately. The board pakets are driven completely by the HEWSAW, to slats split and afterwards strapped by driving throw a strapping tool and the stacking machine supplied. If single boards (205mm x 175 mm max. ) will be charged to the HEWSAW, at first they will be turned with the narrow side up, after the HEWSAW they will be seperated by an special chain conveyor from Kallfass that also charge the stacking machine. The stacking machine is working up to 16 layers / min and stacks on the one hand the strapped slat bundles and also the single boards, the single boards are sawed in the multiplecrosscut-saw still on length. Afterwards the finished cut timber and slat bundle packages still become a strapping arround. This line includes a multiple crosscut-saw with two special saw-aggregates. With that two special saw-aggregates it is for our customer possible to make an mitre cut with 30 degree. It is also possible to swing the saw blade to get an mitre cut between 0 and 30 degree. The setting to work for that line will be finished at the end of August. Battice / Belgien Near to the turn of the year 2002 / 2003 Kallfass delivered the company S.A. Radermecker Zoning P.M.E. the same planing mechanization as in July 2001. But this system is not using an tilting destacker, but here will be destacked with a vacuum destacker ( picture left ). The planing feeder is also working with max. 200 mtr / min. The cutting after the planing line and the automatic stacking from the planned boards is also comparable with the delivered sytem from 2001. Both lines are working with the same dimensional adjustments. At the new system it is also possible to make up to 40 dimensional adjustments per day or per shift. The adjustment time is one to two minutes for the entire line ! At these special moulder will be shaped cutted palett foots. About an automatic feeded apron feeder, the poplar palett blocks will be feeded automatically, at the end of the apron feeder the blocks will pushed into the moulder channel by an pneumatic cylinder. The moulder tool is changable in the height and its possible to shape different blocks. It is possible to shape the blocks lying and upright. Afterwards it is possible to feed the blocks eighter in a box or for an further production for a example to an nailing line. It is possible to shape between 10 and 15 blocks per minute. Kallfass will deliver the company Dekker Hout Warmond B.V. an stacking mechanisation for laminated and no-laminated boards at the middle of october. These mechanisation is standing after a shrinking line, which will laminate the boards. The boards will be feeded to the first stacker over a roller conveyor with tranverse removal, will be stacked to small pakets and and strapped twice. After the strapping the small pakets will be stacked ready for dispatch at euro pallets. The lengths of the boards are between approx. 600 and 3000 mm, the width between approx. 150 - 600 mm. The material thickness is between approx. 18 - 38 mm, the maximum boards in one small paket are 5. It is possible to work on that line with max. 22 boards / min. The company Dekker Hout Warmond B.V. will be delivered two more lines at okt./nov. this year, which will be glueing mechanisations.
